We're going out tonight.

I used to be ashamed of this, but the fact is: if you've ever seen The Only Way is Essex, it is indeed the "way" I live. I get dressed up, I drink, I go out in Essex. I spend a lot of time in the pub, in cafes and in shops. Most girls I know do have that irritating tone. Most boys I know do wear more designer clothes and have more sunbeds than the girls. At first I thought the show was ridiculous, just dumb people getting paid to be dumb and promote their dumbness, but I'm actually hooked recently, you just have to take it with a pinch of salt. It's weird seeing the places I go to on television, sometimes I even feel slightly patriotic in a sense... It doesn't help that Kirk is ridiculously attractive, and even remarkably funny and clever compared to the rest of the cast. Lydia has the best style in my opinion (plently of Aqua dresses and vintage numbers), while Lucy is definitely the best looking, and top marks for the one who's an S&M model with a tooth missing. Ream.

Bare Brick Wall

Unfortunately I haven't a clue where these are from. Just rummaging through old files.

Digital Cameraless

Very unsuccessful scannings of the two rings I bought from http://thisoldthingvintage.blogspot.com . Definitely doesn't show their full potential! I love them. One I definitely bought purely because it's so so so similar to Diana/Kate's, the second kind of reminds me of YSL.

Lost in Hackney

Yesterday, I tried to find an independent jewellers fair in Hackney Wick. To sum it up, I didn't find it. Not even close. All I found was endless deserted industrial roads (honestly, Shane Meadows would have a feild day filming there) and one street with about 5 people dancing outside their cars to the music from them, painting down alleyways, selling their Doctor Who videos. It honestly felt like we were the only people left on the planet. Me, and these bohemian nomads.
HOWEVER, a quick train ride over to Islington made the day a lot more worthwhile. The Old Queen's Head was holding a vintage fair upstairs; lovely. Ended up bumping into an old friend and also meeting a new one: http://thisoldthingvintage.blogspot.com
Also, I bought a very tacky, very AMAZING royal wedding teapot. To match my royal wedding plates and teacup, obviously.

The Compositioning

The other Royal couple.
